Another convention is gone by and I have many pictures to share for it. I will add them as I get a chance. I met many people and artists during the 2 day event. It was in the same building as Otakon was but BCC was only in one room causing it to be very tightly packed. There were fewer cosplayers but the ones that did came in superhero costumes which I am more familiar with than anime ones. I think many people there believe that putting on a t-shirt with a superhero logo means you are a cosplayer. NO! What is the deal with comic book fans and goatees? Everytime I turned around there was someone sporting a goatee. Is this standard issue for

My first big anime convention, Otakon,  has passed and I learned a lot by watching and walking around. Don't demand a photo from the cosplayers. We all know demanding things works out so well. Asking works very well since cosplayers say yes. Don't take pictures while they are eating. Seriously, photographers circled around the cosplayers like vultures. Standing in one spot gives someone a good vantage point for cosplayers passing by. Even if you do not have a costume,  you get caught in photo backwash sometimes. Costume making is serious business.
